Christopher Hitchens signed this copy at the aforementioned debate at which he debated Christian philosopher Dr. William Lane Craig on October 4, 2009, at Biola University.

Hitchens was kind enough to make himself available at a table after the debate in order to sign copies of his books. This exceptionally well-kept first edition, first printing, signed copy comes with the following documents that bring historical significance to the signature and the book. " Notes Sheets with William Lane Craig's outline on one side and space for notes on the other side, which is labeled: "Does God Exist? This copy boasts a brand-new appearance with an exceptional looking dust jacket dressed in a protective, mylar Bro-Dart cover (can be removed if you so choose). The book features clean, unmarked front and back covers with pages free of any and all highlighting, pen markings, and pen underlining. The book contains minimal evidence of extremely light pencil underlining that would go unnoticed if it were not being disclosed in this description.

Pictures can be sent of pages where the underling was, but it will be difficult to detect. Neither of these two copies appeared as nice as this one; neither copy was accompanied with the historical documents that this copy comes with that bring greater significance to the signature.
