Signed by the author to the title page,'To Miss M. Phillips, a surgical nurse of unusual ability, John Bland-Sutton, 1916'. A hunting work on John Bland-Sutton's experiences hunting in Eastern Ethiopia. Bland-Sutton was a noted British Surgeon with a keen interest in zoology, the vice-President of the Zoological Society of London.

Illustrated with in-text illustrations throughout. Institutional stamp of the Middlesex Hospital Nurse's Medical Library to the rear board; Bland-Sutton was a lecturer and worked at the Middlesex Hospital throughout his career. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities.

A few minor marks to the boards and spine. Institutional stamp to the rear board. Pages are bright and clean.

Author's inscription to the title page. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones. Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy.
