This book weighs 0.75 KG when packed. A limited edition work, limited to six-hundred copies, of which this is numbered five-hundred and twenty-five. Signed by both author's to the limitation page.

Sherriff's play'Journey's End'. Journey's End' is set in the trenches towards the end of the First World War, giving an insight into the British Army officers' lives leading up to Operation Michael. The play was originally written by R. Vernon Bartlett collaborated with him to novelise it. Prior owner's pencil inscription to the recto to the front endpaper,'H. In the original publisher's quarter vellum binding with cloth to the boards. Externally, generally smart, with light marks to the boards. Prior owner's pencil inscription to the recto to the front endpaper. Light spots to the endpapers. Pages are bright and clean. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones.

Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy. Some more serious faults as will.
