The work connects his earlier mythological fantasies with the Scientific Romances of his later career. With the bookplate of the Metropolitan Police Libraries to the front pastedown, and a library number in ink to the back strip. With a forty page publisher's catalogue to the rear. A signed copy of this exceptionally scarce work.

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with bumping to back strip head and tail. Bookplate to front pastedown, inscription to front free endpaper. Light spotting to title page, with pages otherwise clean and bright. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy.
