The very scarce first edition, first impression. In the publisher's original price unclipped dust wrapper. A humorous, entertaining and farcical tale, in which a very much in love middle age couple discover an elixir of life. The husband takes it, and is instantly transformed into a brash, high-spirited youth, much to the dismay of his devoted wife. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with unclipped dust wrapper.Bumping to back strip head and tail, with back strip lightly age toned. Inscription to front free endpaper. Significant chipping to back strip head and tail, with small loss to rear wrap tail, and further small loss to head of fold over front flyleaf. Overall Condition: Very Good Very Good. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear.
Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones.
