Signed and inscribed by the author to the front free endpaper in presentation to Oswald Darrell, dated Christmas 1939. With the vanishingly scare original glassine wrapper. A collection of poetry containing a number of poems which had appeared in periodicals prior to this volume. With titles including: Twilight Gods, Genesis, and Lost Heaven. Written by Francis James Ronald Bottrall, a Cornish poet who was praised highly by his contemporaries, including F.

Leavis, Anthony Burgess, and Martin Amis, amongst others. In the original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, very smart with light wear to the extremities.

Original glassine wrapper is worn with loss to the panel edges and the head of the spine. Tears and sunning to the extremities with creases across the rear panel. Pages are very bright and clean with age toning to the endpapers. Author's ink inscription to the front endpaper. Overall Condition: Very Good Indeed Good Only.

Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones.
