84, For Helen, my lovely new friend, Margaret Millar'. In the original unclipped dustwrapper. The Soft Talkers' is a suspenseful detective novel following the disappearance of Ron Galloway. Prior owner's ink inscription to the half-title. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper.

Minor marks to the boards and spine. A little bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few light spots to the fore edge. Front hinge is a little strained but remains firm.

Dustwrapper is edgeworn with tears to the joints. Light discolouration and marks to the wraps. Pages are bright and clean. Overall Condition: Very Good Good. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear.

Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones. Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy. Some more serious faults as will. Be described in the condition report under'condition.
