Signed by the author to the title page. With the publisher's original unclipped dust wrapper. The Dales' was the first significant BBC radio serial drama which ran from 1948 to 1969, with this novel spin-off published the year after.

In this book, Dr Dale and Mrs Dale sail on the liner Princess Irene, and keep in touch with the family at home by letter and cable, all the while becoming involved with their fellow eccentric passengers. In the original cloth binding.

With the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with shelf wear only. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Author's signature to the title page. Overall Condition: Near Fine Very Good Indeed.

Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones. Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy. Some more serious faults as will.
