A reprint of this work. Profusely and illustrated throughout with very charming yet intriguing and slightly unsettling colour plates by Anderson Wayne, and signed by him to the title page.

The story matches the illustrations and was written by Christopher Logue, following the kidnapping of Bluebird by the evil witch for the contents of the egg she is about to lay. Rat and the animals of the Valley of Peace are ready to rescue her.

In the original publisher's binding with illustrated boards. Externally lovely with only minor shelfwear. Signed by Anderson Wayne to the title page. Pages are extremely bright and clean. Profusely and charmingly illustrated throughout with colour plates by Anderson Wayne.

Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones. Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy. Some more serious faults as will.
