First Edition, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, Signed, With Dustwrapper. This book weighs 0.75 KG when packed. Signed by the author to the title page. The tenth Superintendent Otani novel. When the body of young Dutch pharmaceutical management trainee, Marianna van Wijk, is discovered in the burned-down headquarters of the local mob, there are many questions. The most curious of all, is why she had a photograph of Otani's family in her pocket. Written by James Melville, the pseudonym of Roy Peter Martin, an English author known for his set of thirteen novels featuring Superintendent Otani. In the original black cloth binding. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also excellent. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones. Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy.
