The narrative begins in 1959 with the author's return from Brunei and the start of a professional writing career, being a remarkable memoir of a remarkable writer and man. Anthony Burgess was an English writer and composer. While primarily a comic writer, his dsystopian satire A Clockwork Orange remains his best known work.

Overall Condition: Fine Very Good Indeed. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones. Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy.
