First Edition, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, Signed, With Dustwrapper. This book weighs 0.75 KG when packed. Signed and inscribed by the author to the title page. In 1629, a young English lutenist names Peter Claire arrives to the Danish Court to join King Christian IV's Royal Orchestra.

From the moment he realises the musicians are to play in the freezing cellars underneath the royal apartments, he understands the opposing states of light and dark are waging a war to the death. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Overall Condition: Fine Near Fine. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy.
