This book weighs 0.5 KG when packed. First edition, first impression of Evocations, Wood Engravings and Poems by Julia Wroughton and Bruce Killeen in the original publisher's hardcover paper wraps. With an introduction by Sarah van Niekerk, to whom this book belonged. A presentation copy signed and inscribed by the authors to the first free endpaper and including a personal letter addressed to'Sarah', the author of the introduction. The letter also indicates this is one of the first twenty copies printed and bound: The binders managed to send 20 copies just in time for my P. We have just collected the main supply from David McLean + we send one to you with grateful thanks for all your help + especially for the splendid Introduction. The anthology is a collection of engravings by Julia Wroughton alongside poetic responses to them by Bruce Killeen. In the original publisher's hardcover paper wraps.

Some minor signs of use, there is some very slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. The pages are very bright and clean. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones.

Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy. Some more serious faults as will. Be described in the condition report under'condition. Good Only - Meaning one or more faults that could really do with repair.
