First printing code "J 27" to bottom of page 184. It was issued as part of Warner's Sci-Fi book club series in August 1979 and preceded only by the paperback edition. Later that year MacDonald General Books in the UK came out with another hardcover edition.

Fine: A firm square copy with sharp corners. The Publisher's binding glue shows at bottom edge and the top edge joint is rough, otherwise fine.
