The first and original with NO printed signatures. Jointly published by Multiples, Inc. (Marian Goodman) and Castelli Graphics, 1975 Unlimited edition (unknown number of copies) Ten individual 6 ¼" x 4" cardstock sheets printed offset (also known as offset lithographs) in color on the front and back, placed into a 6 ¼" x 8" portfolio (neatly folded in half) Issued to promote a portfolio of 10 variant serigraphs (also known as silkscreens) of Mick Jagger, in an edition of 250, each print signed by both Andy Warhol and Mick Jagger.

Please note that unlike other owners of these mini folios these are authenticated by: David Platzker MOMA, Richard Polsky Art Authentication. Its the very rare first edition that was printed before the artists had signed the REAL edition that is 110 cm high... There fore 2 different editions exist. One WITH PRINTED signatures (alos scarce but not like this) and one with NO PRINTED signatures. David Platzker now curator at MOMA then owner of Specific Object. Please note that this rare first edition is more bluish in the paper. All mint copies that has never circulated (were stored at Castelli Graphics). Leo Castelli was a little to fast when he produced the mini folios. By error he got the large seriagraphs photographed BEFORE Andy Warhol and Mick Jagger had signed them. And the he produced the minifolios and realized his error.

The mini folios thas was printed (around 600) were never released and a new edition had to be made in haste now with printed signatures. Again this is the first and rare - and never released edition with NO printed signatures and with the best provenance in the world. Provenance: Castelli Graphics invoice from Castelli graphcs to David Platzker of Specific Object (now MOMA) Specific Object - David Platzker MOMA.

In January 2011 Specific Object aquired from the assets of Castelli Graphics 809 copies of the sales prospectus fro Andy Warhol´s mick Jagger portfolio published by Multiples, Inc, and Castelli Graphics clients as a advertising tool for Warhol´s Mick Jagger limited edition print portfolio. No one else has this. Focusing in modern & contemporary blue chip artists like Banksy, Damien Hirst, Basquiat, Warhol, Keith Haring and many others. Our inventory is much bigger thans shown on beay.
