In very good condition for its age, but with usual signs of aging (see pictures) hardback 1st edition copy of Anthony Eden: The Eden Memoirs, The Reckoning. The book has been hand signed, inscribed and dated inside by Anthony Eden'Earl of Avon'. This was the personal copy of Sir Michael Carey, a British civil servant who served as Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Defence. Also comes with a dated compliments slip from the author. A rare and collectable piece.
