Published by London & Middlesex Archaeological Society (George Allen & Unwin) in 1935. It is rare to find this book with its dust jacket. I have taken a picture of the reverse side of the DJ so that the preserving tape can be seen. Has worked well the wrapper has strong edges with light fox spots. The book has been signed on the front end paper by the author.

Brett-James draw lots of maps for this publication and they are all in very good shape. The 556 pages are tightly bound and clean. A very nice signed copy of a rare book about London in the times of Pepys, Wren and Cromwell.
