Octavo; publisher's cloth-backed boards in green pictorial dust jacket retaining original price; [8], 215pp. A hint of wear to jacket margins including a few tiny closed tears, corners nudged, gift inscription on front pastedown obscured by jacket flap, else a Very Good or better copy of the author's first book. Enhanced with the author's characteristically effusive inscription to John on title page dated Dec. 20, 1984, the inscription accompanied populated? By eighteen hand-drawn faces, some with features (top hat, beard), others with just eyes.
