Doris Lessing,'The Good Terrorist', SIGNED first edition, Nobel Prize

Condition: very good with the top page block a little dusty. Provenance of the signature: The book is signed on an adhesive sticker attached to the title page. The book stems from the well-known collection of Dr Philip Murray who, during his active years as a collector, gathered a collection of over 2,000 first editions. Murray authored a book titled'The Adventures of a Book Collector' where he gives testimony how he obtained many of the rare signatures. In most cases he sent the books to the authors, and then received the books back duly signed.

On this occasion Doris Lessing agreed to sign a sticker which Murray attached to the book. The postcards reflect the correspondence between Murray and Lessing. You will receive the book together with the two postcards making this a unique book indeed with two written and signed postcards by the Nobel laureate! The Good Terrorist' was shortlisted for the Booker Prize, won the Premio Mondello, and the WH Smith Literary Award.
