Epping Forest E N Buxton First Edition 1884

This is a unique book - E N Buxton was Verderer (judicial officer) of Epping Forest, having been instrumental as a MP in the passing of the Epping Forest Act of 1878, guaranteeing its protection for the Nation. It is the first book of its type giving a detailed guide to the forest. This copy has been inscribed by him. With the authors good wishes for the New Year 1st Jan 1885.
