First US edition, first printing of the second Harry Potter book, signed boldly to the title page by JK Rowling, featuring all first-issue points, most of which are pictured. Condition of book is about Very Good, with strong binding, clean boards, and clean interior. This copy appears to have been read, with wear to board extremities, fading to the spine printing, and some stray marks to page edges. Former bookseller's price notation to FFEP. The jacket, too, is Very Good, with crinkled spine ends and folds and a vertical crease to the front flap.
