Ian Fleming First Edition You Only Live Twice Playboy 1964

The very first US publication of the short stories which became the novel, You Only Live Twice. Here, the complete Playboy serialisation, spanning three months. Published in America by HMH Enterprises, in 1964. Overall condition is near-fine, April and May slightly more shelf wear along the spine and extremities. All three remain tightly bound with original staples.

Bright and clean throughout with original promo slips perfectly attached. Inside each issue are illustrations for the short stories which are connected and not found in any other publication. A piece of Fleming history, given its rightful presentation in a one of a kind case. Signed to bottom left quadrant, undated.

The striking presentation case is hugely unique and painted by artist Peter Doberman. Although undated, the compete'Playboy Flemings' set is in existence.
