I can trace only two institutional holdings of the first edition, one UK and one USA. Of this now; highly topical lecture given by John Ruskin at the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich in 1866. RA, must surely have been in attendance. 100 copies printed; of those, it can be imagined the majority were destroyed by attendees!! Details attached to the pictures.
