The Adoration of the Soldiers, L'Adoration des Soldats, Emile Cammaerts, translated by Tita Brand-Cammaerts, illustrated by Louis Raemaekers. First Edition 1916, Signed and inscribed at Christmas to the top of the half-title page by Louis Raemaekers. Original gilt decorated cloth, 55 printed pages complete with the 6 wonderfully atmospheric illustrations.

It looks like there are slits for silk-ties in the boards, but I've never seen it with these, so probably they did not last well. Frayed to the spine ends and partly to the middle of the spine, foxed end papers, the slip-case is scuffed and split part way to one edge.
