Mama SIGNED FIRST EDITION Terry McMillan 1/1 1st Printing (Her First Book) HCDJ

This is a FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING of Mama, SIGNED by the author, Terry McMillan, on the title page. McMillan's very first book, published to acclaim in 1987.

The book is in near fine condition but for slight bumping to the spine ends. The binding is tight and square, the silver lettering on the spine is still shiny, the orange boards and yellow endpapers remain colorful and bright, and the pages are clean, bright, and free of any writing or marks. Please see photographs as to condition. The dust jacket - which is NOT price clipped - is in very good plus condition, but for some faint sunning to the spine, a few small wrinkles and chips, and some light shelfwear and rubbing. The jacket is now protected in a removable archival mylar dust jacket protector.

It is a beautiful signed first edition copy, uncommon in this condition. This book is not ex-library, not remaindered, not price clipped, and not a book club edition. It would be a terrific addition to any collection.
