First edition, first impression (Collins Clear-Type Press, 1964). Signed by the author to a slip affixed to the title page. Publisher's original red cloth with silver lettering to spine. A near fine copy with a little spotting to edges, some minor knocking to corners and traces of faint and isolated spotting to front and rear endpapers and paste-downs. The original dust jacket is price clipped with some chipping and loss to spine ends and corners; a tear to head and foot of lower panel hinge and to foot of lower panel fore-edge with some foxing to lower panel and to verso, but a good example.
