News from Nowhere; or, An Epoch of Rest, Published Robert Brothers, Boston, 1890. Bound in red cloth covers. This is the first edition of Morris's famous book.

Although the word's'Author's edition' appear on the verso it is not clear that Morris was consulted about it. The British edition came out in 1891.

The copy for sale was the owned by the Canadian poet and author E. He also dated the book 10th March 1891 and added his address (7 Selby Street). Tissue guard to title page.
