Printed on 15 1/4" x 12 1/2" heavy stock leaves bound in steel rings mounted inside linen boards with gilt lettering to front and spine panels.

Limited edition of 1,000 copies of which this is copy #225 signed in black ink by Fassbender and dated October, 1937. Signature unconditionally guaranteed to pass any COA examination.

Fassbender, a master of Pictorialism aka Pictorial Photography, was inducted into the Photography Hall of Fame upon his death in 1980 and had numerous degrees and awards, including an Honorary Fellowship and Progress Medal from the Photographic Society of America. He was also awarded an Honorary Master of Photography, Master of Photography and was given the George Harris Award from the Professional Photographers of America. Photos feature numerous topics with an occasional New York City focus and more, his "The White Night" scene of a NYC skyline perhaps his most stunning. Large format: 16" x 13 3/4". Slightly bumped extremities and light soiling to binder. Gilt title lettering on front panel somewhat faded exposing green undercoat along edges. Fassbender's name in green only.
