1988 First Edition Paperback Copy of SATAN WANTS YOU an exposé on Satanism in America during the period of time commonly referred to as the Satanic Panic during the 1980s that was realized later to have been a media induced witch-hunt that resulted in many good peoples lives being ruined. This is an unbiased non-fanatical look into the rise and growth of interest in the occult and particularly Satanism in America.
The cover photo is an embossed image of Church of Satan founding High Priest Anton Szandor LaVey which was originally photographed by LaVeys wife and Church of Satan founding High Priestess Diane LaVey who also co-starred with Anton along with Ernest Borgnine, William Shatner, Ida Lupino and a young fresh-faced John Travolta in his first screen appearance in the now legendary cult-classic The Devils Rain. Anton LaVey has recently become turned into a character on the hit tv show on FX American Horror Story (Season 8 Apocalypse episodes 6&8). High Priestess Diane LaVeys autograph is extremely rare, especially considering her 25 years spent working with Anton and editing his first three books, The Satanic Bible, Rituals & Witch the first of which was dedicated by Anton to Diane because without her editing of his writings likely the books would have never made it to print.
