LIMITED EDITION of RETURN TO THE HUNDRED ACRE WOOD. SIGNED & NUMBERED BY THE AUTHOR, DAVID BENEDICTUS. This is a really superb book, Return to the Hundred Acre Wood is the authorised sequel to the Winnie the Pooh books, written by David Benedictus, who has signed it on the limitation page. The book is a Limited Edition, only 1750 copies were produced, this copy is number 928. It is beautifully illustrated by Mark Burgess throughout, in the style of E H Shepard.
The book is in mint, unread condition with no damage, no personal inscriptions. The slip-case is in near mint condition, there is some fading to the cloth, mainly to the front, top, left hand side and there is also a dark stain to the back, also a really small bump to the bottom edge on the back, otherwise no other imperfections. A really delightful book that is sure to be a future classic, it really does warm the heart, Benedictus and Burgess have successfully managed to recreate the world of Winnie the Pooh in a way that absolutely captures your imagination. It will be very carefully packaged and sent tracked and signed.
