Signed 1st The Enemy Within Robert F. Kennedy telephone message view vid

In July of 1960 the Democratic National Convention was held in the Los Angeles Coliseum with Robert Kennedy, Johnson, and others staying in the Biltmore Hotel. This copy was gifted to Stanley Posner by Kennedy with Mr. Posner signing it in turn using his Biltmore Hotel room number to establish provenance. NOTE : Included with this copy is a Biltmore Hotel telephone message slip, dated 7/3/60, referencing a call to RFK's room #2124 from a radio station requesting a call back. The book is 338 pages with a central section of photographs including the famous photo of renowned gangster Johnny Dio after he punched a photographer during the hearing (see pic, lower left corner).

The book is square with a sound binding and internally it is white and bright throughout with no foxing, no spotting, no dog ears, no tears. The dust jacket is not price clipped.
