Octavo, full-bound cloth with title to spine. First Edition, Second Printing of Frank Herbert's climax to the Dune Trilogy, Children of the Dune. Presenting well in its original Dust Jacket. It was critically well-received for its gripping plot, action, and atmosphere, and was nominated for the Hugo Award for Best Novel in 1977.

Dune Messiah (1969) and Children of Dune were collectively adapted by the Sci-Fi Channel in 2003 into a miniseries entitled Frank Herbert's Children of Dune. Original full-bound cloth boards present clean and unmarked. Very light wear to corners, head and foot of spine and bottom edges. Mild spotting to top text-block an a couple very small spots to fore-edge.

Signed, inscribed and dated by the Author on the front endpaper. Dust Jacket presents well with richly colored front panel and spine.

Mild toning to front with a couple rubs. More moderate rubbing to rear. Edges somewhat clean with some small closed tears to top front edge and a bit of chipping to rear of same. Bottom edges mostly clean with a few light creases, the largest about one inch at bottom front fore-edge corner. Light chipping to corners with some loss. Same to head and foot of spine, also with some light creases. Flaps clean and unmarked with only a couple tiny folds to top front.
