This is #110 of only 200 copies that were produced. It is a fairly rare Bukowski book I dont know of another copy of this edition currently on the market.
It contains 20 Charles Bukowski drawings of various events that happen in the book. They are much more interesting to look at then the various pictures from the set of the movie that appeared in the later screenplay. In terms of the text, Id say 75% of the dialog is the same as the final version. Most of the changes take place in the second half of the script. There is at least one scene not included in the final, which is not significant. Probably most significant is that the last line of the original screenplay belonged to Tully, where she yells BARFLY in disgust. This copy is in near fine condition. There is some shelf wear (white) on the bottom of the cover boards, which is due to the covers being mostly black. There is also a couple of needle size white dots on the front and rear cover, as well the corners. The biding is solid and all interior pages are clean. All in all, a beautiful copy of this very hard to find book. I specialize in Charles Bukowski books.
