Illustrated with 13 half-tone illustrations, including the frontispiece and pictorial title page F. Measures 5.5" x 8.25", 267 pages. The book is in very good or better condition. Minor surface wear and scratching to the cloth boards. Minor sun-fading to the spine.

Gilt lettering and illustrations on the front board and spine are very well preserved. Very small stain to the outer edge of the textblock, affecting approximately 15 pages of text at the very outer margin. Small piece of bottom corner of page 165 missing.
