Condition: book is near fine for the most pedantic of judges (really a fine copy for most collectors), in a near fine first state dust jacket. There is no lean; no foxing the boards are clean and book is clean throughout without any further inscriptions.

The Stand is Stephen Kings fourth novel which had a moderate print run of 70,000 copies (nowadays King first edition print runs run into millions). It was nominated for the World Fantasy and Locus Award. A TV-adaptation was made in the beginning of the 1990s, and speculations about a remake/ new adaptation are on the table.
