D Is For Deadbeat' published by MacMillan in London in 1987 (the same year as published in the US), 1st UK edition, 8vo hardback, (7.75in x 5in), [viii] + 229 pages.
See photo 7 for plot summary. Flat hand signed by Sue Grafton in black felt pen at the the title page. Externally in fine condition, original green cloth titled in gilt to the spine, squarely and tightly bound, sharp corners, modest edgewear. Internally in fine condition, no ownership inscriptions or markings, seems to be a barely read or unread example, text block is somewhat toned, which is common for many UK-edition crime novels of this era due to the paper stock that was used. One of the rarer books in the series to find as a signed UK 1st edition - signed copies of the US 1st edition, published by Henry Holt, are quite common by comparison.
