Up for sale is a Very Rare, SIGNED First American Edition/Fourth Printing of The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. SIGNED copies of this modern day masterpiece are scarce and becoming increasingly hard to find!

The DRAWING is located above the signature and title. Hardcover with its original dust jacket, NOT price-clipped! Boldly SIGNED with a DRAWING on the title page by the celebrated author! NOT inscribed to anyone, simply SIGNED with a DRAWING by the great Markus Zusak! A First American Edition/Fourth Printing. Please remember this is NOT a First Edition/First Printing! This is the Fourth Printing of the First American Edition.

Some would classify this copy as a First Edition Thus, a First Edition/Later Printing, a First Edition/Early Printing and so on. We prefer to be as specific as possible with our classifications/descriptions which is why we refer to this copy as a First Edition/Fourth Printing.

This rare treasure has some VERY clearly visible wear, but is still in Highly Desirable, Highly Collectible condition!

The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE. The binding is holding tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean! Some general/shelf wear along with creases/scuffing/wear to the spine/corners/cloth boards, marks/wear to the edge/fore pages and creases/warping/marks/wear to the pages, NOT affecting the text! Please note the wear to the spine/corners/cloth boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges, and the creases/warping/marks/wear that is present on the pages, varying in size and severity and particularly extensive on certain pages. Pages 293-303 have the most damage and the wear, which is present on all the pages, is the most severe on these pages!

All of the wear previously mentioned is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. The original dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped! Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing, rips and marks. Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges! The wear, particularly near/along the edges and at the corners, is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consider ation any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book. Our VERY LOW asking price is a reflection of that consideration and if this copy was in better condition our asking price would be considerably higher. We purposely and closely photographed what we consider to be the most obvious and egregious wear. Once again, we want to reiterate that the wear to both the book and the dust jacket is considerable and VERY clearly visible!
