The Carpet People, Terry Pratchett, First Edition, Hardback with Dust Jacket, 1971. The Carpet People is a fantasy novel written and illustrated by Terry Pratchett which was originally published in 1971, but was later re-written by the author when his work became more widespread and well-known so the original is quite rare. This copy has been signed and has a Remarque by Terry Pratchett.

He has also signed his initials next to the drawing. This is VERY RARE for Terry hence the price. Printed in 1971 by Colin Smythe Publishers. A truly beautiful copy in very good condition. Does have an inscription in ink and a slight, small browning at the edge of some pages (see photo).
