Book measures approximately 8 1/2 x 5 3/4 inches. Book cover and dust jacket are in very good condition with the exception of creases on two pages (41 and 43; photo shown above).

Bound in lime green cloth-covered boards with red lettering on the front board and spine. Book is unmarked, corners sharp, pages bright. Unmarked, non-library first editions of this beautifully illustrated childrens classic are extremely rare.
