The Life of an Alcoholic, Harry Proctor, Alcoholics Anonymous in 1948 signed 1st

This very scarce hardcover book is in fair condition and is missing its original dustjacket. The cover does have some wear, and the spine is tanned it appears. The author has signed the 3rd blank page. Otherwise, the pages are all clean and still fairly white. Some light tanning on the page edges.

The first 13 chapters are mostly drunkalogue as often seen in early drunk gets sober in AA books. Chapter 14 on page 175 is all about Alcoholics Anonymous and was written in 1948. This book is from 1948 in California where they had only weekly meetings, but the talk and jargon are the same then as now. I have posted pics of the first 3 pages of chapter 14 for your inspection.
