The Man With The Golden Gun by Ian Fleming, Cape first edition, 2nd impression 1965, only 4 weeks after the first impression. The title page of this book is SIGNED by the actor Christopher Lee who played the villain Scaramanga in the film version of this book. The signature has some provenance as to who obtained it and the book will come with a personal letter from me giving details. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a book signed by arguably the most famous Bond villain.

In his autobiography, Christopher Lee - who was a cousin of Bond author Ian Fleming - says he was delighted to play Scaramanga, who he describes as'loathsome' and'a nasty piece of work' because he had missed out on being a Bond villain years earlier when Fleming had recommended him for the role of Dr No, but the part had already been given to Joseph Wiseman. This book is in excellent condition, clean unmarked boards, clean bright pages and end-papers, clean page block. Original unclipped dust-jacket is in very good condition, no tears or paper loss, 3 tiny indentations on right edge of front cover but they do not pierce the paper.
