On offer a SIGNED true first edition AND first printing of the cult book and modern classic' The Silence of the Lambs' by Thomas Harris , published by St. Martin's Press in the US in 1988. Condition: very fine/ mint , absolutely stellar condition with no foxing, no stench, without any inscriptions etc.
Thomas Harris is a very reclusive author who lives in Italy and Florida. He does not do any public appearances nor signing events. His newer books are more common signed since he signed a few for the publisher meant for distribution to satisfy demand from specialist book stores. I will not share the information publicly.
The Silence of the Lambs' was adapted for the cinema in 1991 starring Jodie Foster and Sir Anthony Hopkins. The movie won five Academy Awards (Oscars) including best Picture, best Actor, best Actress, and best Adapted Screenplay. Harris' book series centred around the cannibal Hannibal Lecter, the famous movie and the more recent TV-show ('Hannibal') have permeated popular culture. As a result the book will always be sought after.
