This is the First edition, Second printing of the book with a solitary 2 on the title page confirming its second print status. The book went into reprint almost as soon as it was published by Fourth Estate, London in 2009.

Signed, lined with a quote from the book, and dated to the title page by the author at the Cheltenham Booker Winner event on October 9, 2009. This was the authors first event since winning, so can be considered an important date to have the inscription next to the signature.
